- Saturday, 6:50 p.m. – Me and my wife, Keersten, (President of Apollo,) order our meal at a local restaurant
- Saturday, 6:56 p.m. – Dealer calls and asks if we can run 3 ColourScenic® gobos for them by Sunday afternoon in Seattle
- Saturday, 7:07 p.m.– Tracie, our Art Director, says she can come into the office
- Saturday, 7:12 p.m. – Matt, the Glass Manager, is still working on options
- Saturday, 7:36 p.m.– Matt says Jeff from glass can come in, but it will be late
- Saturday, 7:46 p.m. – Tracie is in setting up art, and I turn on the lasers to warm up
- Saturday, 9:36 p.m. – Jeff from glass arrives to start running gobos
- Saturday, 11:47 p.m. – Jeff is done, and has produced 3 ColourScenic® gobos
- Sunday, 3:45 a.m. – My alarm goes off, and I head to Apollo to pick up gobos
- Sunday, 4:08 a.m. – I leave Apollo for the Fort Wayne Airport
- Sunday, 4:43 a.m. – I arrive at the airport, and start filling out paperwork
- Sunday, 5:02 a.m. – Package is with American Airlines
- Sunday, 9:52 a.m. – Package arrives in Seattle
- Sunday, 2:53 p.m. – Dealer has gobos loaded, and their customer is ecstatic
And just like that, Apollo’s version of the Kentucky Derby is a huge success!
